ConnexPoint uses account codes to indicate which revenue account money for an item, or category of items, is deposited into. Therefore, you want all items to have an account code and you want all account codes tied to a bank deposit account.
Keep in mind that the account codes you enter in ConnexPoint must be an exact match to any existing account codes in your vendor's software.
What do you want to do?
- Add an account code
- Change the bank account for your account code

Add an account code
- On the navigation menu, under Configuration, click Account Codes.
- Click Add Account Code.
- For Account Code, enter the code.
NOTE: Account codes can contain numbers or characters or a combination of both. If the account code is already set up in your vendor's software, be sure the code you add here is the same.
- For Display Name, enter the name; this name shows up in reports.
- For Bank Account, select the account that transactions with this account code should be deposited into.
- Click Add.
TIP: If you have multiple account codes to add, prior to clicking Add, select Create Another and ConnexPoint remains on this page so you can quickly add additional account codes.
Change the bank account for your account code
- On the navigation menu, under Configuration, click Account Codes.
- Locate your account code and click EDIT.
TIP: To quickly find an account code, you can enter the account code or display name into the applicable search field and ConnexPoint shows you all the results that match your criteria. To refresh your search, just click the x in the search field.

- For Bank Account, select the applicable bank account.
- Click Save.
Edit an account code
- On the navigation menu, under Configuration, click Account Codes.
- Locate your account code and click EDIT.
TIP: To quickly find an account code, you can enter the account code or display name into the applicable search field and ConnexPoint shows you all the results that match your criteria. To refresh your search, just click the x in the search field.

- Make your edits and when finished, click Save.
Export account codes
You can export a list of your accounts into Microsoft Excel.
- On the navigation menu, under Configuration, click Account Codes.
- Click Export to Excel.
- Follow your browser's instructions to open the Microsoft Excel file.
